Help is now available for COVID-hit homeowners

by N.H. Community Loan Fund
on February 15, 2022

Good news is here for New Hampshire homeowners who have experienced financial hardship during the COVID pandemic.

The NH Homeowner Assistance Fund can help homeowners prevent home foreclosure, displacement, or loss of utilities or home energy services.

The web portal linked above is available in a dozen languages. A simple prescreening questionnaire will help determine whether you’re eligible, and you can apply online .

Homeowners who struggle with the portal can phone AHEAD, Inc. at 1-800-974-1377, ext. 1014  for assistance.

In addition, Welcome Home Loan borrowers can always find solutions and support 24/7 through the New Hampshire Community Loan Fund’s Easy Assistance Program. Visit www.borrowerseap.com or call 1-888-925-1982.

Kathi Paradis is Director of Welcome Home Loans.
